Restoring sight in thousands

Our Medical Outreach Program supplies crucial medical products to skilled, dedicated Nigerian based health workers to administer and share with Itsekiri communities where basic health care is unavailable or unaffordable.

Ugbajo Itsekiri, Inc., in collaboration with the African Cataract Association, strives to make free eye surgery and care available to people in Itsekiriland. This effort has provided care for more than 3,000 Delta State residents, as of 2017.

In 2007, Ugbajo Itsekiri Patron Dr. Ogbemi Omatete delivered donated medical and surgical supplies to a Warri Hospital. The generous donations were thanks to the family of the late Dr. Victor Diabo, of Oma Iwere Itsekiri Organization of New York/New Jersey, one of the 10 affiliates of Ugbajo Itsekiri USA Inc.
